The world of benefits and HR is dynamic. Your published website today may need to be updated to include updated and new information. To edit or update a published website, navigate to the individual website on your dashboard and click on “Create New Draft” plus icon.
You will find yourself back in the website editor to update the website.
In the example below, we’ve updated the new draft with a blue primary color and updated the right-hand side graphic to a blue Open Enrollment graphic (from the purple-based graphics we initially started with).
In this example, let's assume that you cannot complete updating your website in one session and are required to come back at a future time to finish updates. Click on the back arrow and find yourself back in the dashboard.
Notice that you now see two different versions on your dashboard:
This means that the V1 website remains live and accessible to your end users while you work on the V2 draft version of the website.
Moving forward with the example, let's continue updating the draft website by changing the primary color to achieve a better color match to the graphic. In the example below, we’ve updated the color to match the left side of the graphic.
Lets assume that all the website updates required have been completed. Let’s also assume that we’ve gone through the exercise of previewing the website to ensure all the changes are correct. We’ll now publish the draft blue website by clicking on the “Publish” button on the top right-hand side menu.
Once published, click on the back arrow to return to the dashboard. Notice that your dashboard only reflects the V2 version of the website. See below. The V2 version of the website is now live.
