Delete Menu Item

It is important to note that deleting a menu item that’s linked to an internal website page and deleting a menu item that’s linked to an external page or URL is done differently.

Delete a Menu Item Linked to an External Page

Click on the “Configure” gear icon on the menu item that is linked to the external page. In the example below, we’ll be deleting the “Payroll” menu item.

After clicking on the configure button, click on the red trash icon. See below.

Deleting a Menu Item Linked to an Internal Page

It is important first to note that a menu item that is linked to an internal page only exists if the page exists. With that said, deleting a top navigation menu item that is linked to an internal page will be done through the “Pages” controls on the left-hand side of the editor.

In the example above, we will be deleting the “Contact Information” page and menu. Click on the “Configure” gear icon next to “Contact Information”. Then, click on the red trash icon.
